Service Design Architect

Your new role
Our client is looking for a service design architect to design the end-to-end journey of a service, taking into account the needs and expectations of the users, the goals and policies of their organisation, and the technical and operational feasibility of the solution. Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Developing service concepts, visions, and blueprints that illustrate the current and future state of the service
• Creating prototypes, wireframes, mockups, and user journeys that demonstrate the functionality and user experience of the service
• Collaborating with other designers, developers, analysts, and SME to deliver user-centred and technically sound solutions
• Testing and iterating the service design based on user feedback and data analysis
• Documenting and communicating the service design to various audiences, such as clients, senior management, and delivery teams
• Ensuring the service design complies with relevant standards, policies, and regulations, such as accessibility, security, and privacy
• Evaluating and measuring the impact and outcomes of the service design on the users and the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of designing and delivering complex services across multiple channels and platforms, preferably in a large organisation
• Proficiency in using service design tools and methods, such as user research, personas, journey maps, service blueprints, prototyping, and testing
• Knowledge of agile and lean methodologies and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and ideas to different audiences
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

What you'll get in return

• 6-Month Contract
• £450 - 500 Per Day Outside IR35 (via PSC)
• Hybrid working 2–3 days in the Milton Keynes office per week
