You will be working within a well-established and professional team who provide a vital support service to the wider business. No two days will be the same and the work you complete will play a vital role in the future success of the organisation. Your duties will be focused around ensuring all UK operations are fully compliant with UK import and export rules & regulations. The continued development of a best in class customs compliance program including the design and implementation of training documents for internal stakeholders. You will be a key contact for external agencies, customers and suppliers for customs compliance related issues. As a key business partner, you will be responsible for supporting supply chain work flows for goods moving in and out of the UK in an efficient and effective manner. Minimising risk and maximising availability will be a key part of your role conducing assessments to ensure that policies and procedures are properly followed amid managing reporting streams in line with best practice. Analysing processes and procedures will be a key part of your role in utilising the latest techniques and technology.
