Job Title: Electrical and Mechanical Engineer
Location: Porton Down, Wiltshire
Salary: £38,000

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a MOD site in Porton Down. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing electrical and mechanical systems and components.
• Conducting tests and inspections of systems, equipment, and components to identify and troubleshoot faults.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Providing technical support to other departments as required.
• Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical design software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have your own transport and tools.
• BPSS clearance will be carried out on successful candidates.
