World leading multidisciplinary property consultancy seeking an Associate Director in project management (construction consultancy) Liverpool, North West, hybrid working options.
Job Title: Associate Director (Major Projects Construction)
Location: North west offices, hybrid working (1-2 days a week from home).
Salary: £60,000-£65,000 basic salary + car allowance + excellent benefits package

Internationally renowned and world leading integrated project management consultancy with strong relationships across multiple public and private sectors; commercial, education, healthcare, defence, major infrastructure, energy etc. With one of the world's largest networks of multidisciplinary property professionals this is an excellent opportunity for a Associate Director seeking a leadership role to work on some of the country's most interesting projects on the consultancy/clientside.
They are a world leading employer in the real estate industry that operate a fully flexible working arrangement, time split between the office and home (up to 3 days a week at home) as required. As an innovator in technology, you will have all the required tools to be able to work remotely and service clients.

Your new role
Leadership role within the major projects team you will provide service delivery support, acting as a key point of contact for clients and developing new business relationships. You will lead project accounts and resource requirements. Other duties include:

  • Leading in communicating technical expertise and guidance to clients and stakeholders
  • Business development activities in line with business strategy and encouraging repeat business with existing clients, attending and representing at key networking events across the North West region
  • Managing the preparation of fee proposals and submission of bids
  • Leading on large scale, complex projects from inception to completion with support from senior colleagues across a variety of sectors (Multimillion £ value projects)
  • Contract Administration (JCT and NEC
  • Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team, managing teams and providing direction on large-scale projects.

Recent projects in 2023 include multimillion Merseyside University campus new build scheme and an iconic mixed use commercial and residential Liverpool city centre development. Major listed building refurbishments across Manchester and Liverpool city centre.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal Associate Director will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop client relationships, previous leadership and mentoring. It is essential you have worked in a consultancy environment leading on high-value, large-scale construction projects and are MRICS qualified or working towards. (Qualified by experience will also be considered).
