General Background
A VDO (Value Delivery Office) Consultant specialising in governance meeting facilitation, stats tracking, and compliance reporting is a seasoned professional with expertise in project and program management. This role demands strong organizational and communication skills, as the consultant is responsible for orchestrating crucial governance meetings, capturing essential data, and preparing compliance reports. Prior experience in a relevant field and possessing practical experience, this consultant ensures that projects and programs align with organizational goals, monitors progress, proactively addresses compliance issues, and communicates effectively with stakeholders. Their ability to streamline processes and mitigate risks contributes significantly to the organization\'s successful project management endeavours.

Responsibilities

  • Governance Meetings & Minutes of Meeting (MoM)
  • Lead, organize, and facilitate all governance meetings, ensure meetings align with agendas and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule and coordinate meetings efficiently and consolidation of actions / risks / issues / actions to provide trends maintaining a portfolio RAID.
  • Capture detailed and accurate minutes for all governance meetings. Summarize discussions, decisions, and action items. Distribute MoMs promptly to meeting participants and stakeholders.


Skills

  • Proven experience in project management or VDO roles, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive attitude towards compliance issues.
  • Experience working on a complex storage migration programme.
