Highways Supervisor (Nights)

Your new company
A reputable and established Tier 1 Contractor, who manages some of the largest infrastructure projects within the UK. They have won some of the biggest bids in the UK, and have a number of upcoming and on-going projects.

Your new role
For a selection of up-coming projects, a number of highway schemes need to be worked on throughout the night. Our client is seeking an established and experienced Night Turn Supervisor (who must be experienced within Highways) to come on board the projects.
Your new role holds some (but not limited to) some of the following responsibilities
·Planning and programming works
·Lead and effectively manage a team of traffic management professionals on-site, being a part of their development
·Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to.
·Monitor project progress and establish reports to present to senior management
·Adapt to work of differing nature in alignment with job requirements

What you'll need to succeed
·Experience within a supervisor role within the highways sector, minimum of 1-2 years
·Experience working on a term maintenance contract
·Ability to communicate with senior management and lead an effective work force
·Good understanding of road maintenance work, including resurfacing, street lighting and VRS
·Willingness to work night shifts 9pm-5am Monday-Friday (Some weekend work may be required)
·Proactive individual with a good work ethic and a hunger to learn and progress within the role
·Confident in your own decision-making ability and willing to take initiative
·SMSTS and CSCS cards
·First Aid qualified
·NEBOSH desired
· Fully clean drivers licence
