We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst/ Systems Analyst on a permanent basis for an SME based in Woking. The business is currently going through a period of change and transformation (including upgrading their ERP to S4HANA) and have created a new position as a Business Analyst/ Systems Analyst working alongside the Senior Application Lead and Head of IT to deliver some of their core future projects.
Your new role
Working alongside the Head of IT, the Business Analyst/ Systems Analyst will be responsible for the functional support and analysis of the core business systems, primarily SAP systems, as well as other applications developed in-house (or other system providers), to support the business when required.
The Business Analyst/ Systems Analyst will provide 1st/ 2nd level functional support to local and overseas users on the core business systems and provide support to the central development team, including data mapping.
You will perform and document user and business requirements, analysing data for new systems/ enhancements and co-ordinate their implementation with other parties, assisting the Head of IT, Senior Applications Lead and wider business with the upgrade to S4HANA throughout 2024 and beyond.

What you\'ll need to succeed
We are looking for someone analytical, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can provide functional systems/ application support to internal users, as well as elicit data from business users, working with the Head of IT to create As Is/ To Be user requirements to aid in the organisations future ERP upgrade.
You will have previous experience as a Business Analyst/ Systems Analyst/ Application Support Analyst, with a particular focus on ERP (SAP experience would be helpful, but any ERP knowledge would be transferable). You will be proactive and inquisitive about using data to support strategic business decisions and have an eye for creating and maintaining good quality documentation, to aid user training.
As the Business Analyst/ Systems Analyst , you will maintain good knowledge of Prince2 and Agile Project management and have previous experience with APIs to support the integration of the organisations planned and future projects.

What you\'ll get in return
Salary up to £60,000 - although there may be some flexibility with this for the right person, plus a 10% discretionary bonus, this role is on site 4 days per week with home working on Friday, 5 % employee pension contribution, 10% employer, private medical (personal, partner and children), dental cover (personal and partner), 23 starting day annual leave plus bank holiday (31 days leave in total - starting entitlement), plus 3x life assurance.
The station is easily accessible by public transport with good train links and offers free on-site parking. This is a varied role, where you will be actively involved in a variety of projects working directly with the Head of IT.
