Your new role
Engineer to provide support during core hours from 7am to 7pm. Flexible to travel using the quickest mode of transport. The ability to quickly learn and support basic Desktop & Laptop hardware and software in a W7/W10/W11 environment. Good MS Office products experience -Outlook 2007/2010 and Office 365. Experience of using IPAD, Android and other mobile devices. An understanding of wireless connectivity and fault diagnostics. To be able to floor walk and deal with any technical quires. Able to navigate around the OS, to find and recreate desktop shortcuts. Able to add printers and map network connections. To follow scripts to build and configure laptops and desktops. To perform moves and changes and set up workstations. Set up and maintain printers, clear jams, change cartridges etc. Mac skills are desirable. Able to work in a Tech Bar environment, so excellent customer service is required. Must be able to go through all customer clearances including financial, Government SC and Enhanced police clearances - facilitated by the client. Willingness to travel nationally is desirable.
