Quantity Surveyor

Your new company
Our client is a large specialist contractor based in Fife who is well known for being a leader in their space. As their business evolves, they are now seeking to develop their commercial team and appoint a Quantity Surveyor to their business.


Your new role
Reporting to the commercial manager and director, you will be responsible for managing a range of supply and fit contracts into public sector organisations such as housing associations and direct to councils. From assessing the contract risk always at the tender stage to managing the contract through the course of the project, you will always be responsible for managing commercial risk for the business while maximising commercial return.


What you\'ll need to succeed
Our client is seeking a qualified quantity surveyor with experience of working on contracts delivering packages of work into the public sector. You could have worked for a main or subcontractor, and you understand how to manage risk in this contract. Working with a small commercial team and closely with senior leadership, you will be expected to advise on contractual terms and conditions and use your commercial experience to ensure our clients\' commercial interest is protected at all times.
