Loading Shovel Driver

We are currently looking for a Loading Shovel Driver to join our exciting and rapidly expanding HS2 team at our HS2 site near Banbury.

Role responsibility
Reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
§ The safe operation of our loading shovel (Volvo L150H)
§ Housekeeping and delivering excellent site standards.
§ Working with a team focused on great customer service, especially providing good quality material and on-time deliveries to a varied customer base
§ Carrying out inspections on the plant and carry out housekeeping tasks and basic daily maintenance
§ Ensuring stocks are replenished and maintained to good levels.

The ideal Candidate
Although this would be beneficial, you do not need previous experience of working with Ready Mix concrete as we can provide full training from our friendly teams at other local sites. However, you do need to be a passionate learner and committed to learning new skills. You will also need to work in a collaborative manner and rise to challenges.
You will be curious and motivated to drive not only your development, but to help with the growth of the team too. A commitment to high safety standards, both for yourself and your team, will also help to make the site a success. Furthermore, good customer service skills and the ability to build a friendly rapport with a wide range of people would be beneficial.
