Our client is a largeBuilding Services consultancy based in Glasgow. Their team of highly-qualifiedmechanical and electrical engineers have many years of experience in allaspects of building services engineering: from preliminary planning andconstruction management to supplementary services upon completion. Theirclients operate throughout the industrial, commercial and residential sectors.Work includes commercial offices, student accommodations, distilleries andmore. This is a great opportunity for an Senior Electrical Design Engineer tojoin a well stablished practice that can offer you the access and support youneed to aid your learning and development. You will be expected to run your ownprojects, working through the RIBA stages. The office has a relaxed, flexibleculture and regular social incentives take place.

Your new role
You'll play a key part in the Electrical Design team and will have the opportunity tolead projects and mentor junior team members. Your key responsibilities willinclude:

  • Designing and developing Electrical systems for building services projects.
  • Preparing technical reports and specifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and architects.
  • Mentoring junior team members


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering on Building Services projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
