Full Stack Developer

Initial 6 months
Paying up to £850/day inside IR35
Hybrid working.

I am currently working with a leading financial services company, who are looking for an experienced Full stack Developer who can work both on backend development in Java and building their front end UI in ReactJS.

You will be joining one of the fastest growing teams in the company, who is looking to build on recent successes and further increase market share through modernising and enhancing external-facing applications and API by delivering powerful functionality to meet evolving market demands. They are looking for a candidate who will apply their expertise to build scalable, user-friendly solutions and have a passion for delivering robust, testable code and driving efficiency through effective CI/CD processes.

Your Role:

• Front end development: developing user-facing features in ReactJS
• Back end development: Full Stack Developer Java/ReactJS

Mandatory Skills:

• Commercial experience in developing in both Java and ReactJS
• Strong understanding of web development principles such as, Restful API, HTTP and MVC architecture.
• Familiarity with working on CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit testing in Cypress.
• Worked on either AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.

Desirable skills:

• Working within a financial services environment or a highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle.
