Contracts Manager

Your new company
Our client is a specialist contractor who is a leader in their space. Based in Fife, they have recently won a series of large refurbishment contracts with various local authorities to upgrade and refurbish flats and flats. As a result, they are now seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Contracts Manager to manage these contracts.


Your new role
As Contracts Manager, you will be operationally responsible for running multiple projects in this space. From leading and engaging your team of site managers, supervisors and direct labour to engaging with the client and their stakeholders to manage programs, quality and budgets, you will be a critical member of this project team. You will be working across multiple live sites ensuring the work is being managed in a safe, effective and efficient manner.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be from a construction management background with experience of working across multiple projects as a contract manager. Ideally, you will have experience of working on contracts with local authorities and have a good understanding of public housing regulations, standards and expectations. This is a leadership position with a company that pride themselves on their professionalism and efficiency, so you must have the ability to fit into a similar culture. Exceptional communication skills and construction knowledge are essential.


What you'll get in return
This is an immediate role on a freelance basis for an initial 3-month duration. There will be opportunities for a longer term duration if it suits both parties. A competitive daily rate will be paid to the right candidate. Get in touch asap
