Job Title: Assistant Project Manager Location: Liverpool, Merseyside region, flexible working arrangement Salary: £30,000 basic salary + exceptional benefits package (Civil service pension, Free city centre parking, major retail and leisure discounts, free gym membership, flexitime etc).

Your new role

The Assistant Project Manager will be integral in the charity's overhaul of their building portfolio and responsible for supporting the delivery of major refurbishments. Working in conjunction with the major projects and estates team, the main duties of the role include:

  • Keeping an accurate record of spending and raising purchase orders.
  • Coordinating meetings, making all logistical arrangements such as travel and accomodation, minute taking.
  • Managing the record keeping of project information, sharing information with the estates and project team as required.
  • Working in conjunction with the procurement team and access to bid documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors and consultants, arranging site access and supervising when on site.
  • Creating action logs are created and tasks are carried out in line with required timescales.
  • Managing the process for snagging and ensuring defects are rectified.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have a proven background of working within a project team in the built environment. You must be able to demonstrate you are a strong communicator and are highly organised.
