Handyman - Coventry

Location: Coventry city centre
Rate: £14.00-£15.00 per hour dependent on pay type
Start date: 25/03/2024


Your new company
Our client is looking for an experienced individual who has previously worked as a handyman / maintenance person for a temp to perm opportunity in the Coventry City Centre area.
Your new role
Day to day tasks will include:
-Small fixtures and repairs such as door handles and wardrobes
-Reporting any immediate repairs to the building manager, i.e. leaks, broken cookers, light switches, radiators
-Able to complete any masticing or patching or painting work where needed
-High communication between yourselves, residents and colleagues to ensure the best service is provided
-Testing of building safety of fire alarms and elevators may be involved to ensure residents are safe on site.

What you'll need to succeed
-Tools such as basic set of screwdrivers, drill, paint brushes etc.
-A valid CSCS Card
-A minimum of 1-2 previous working references related to maintenance or handyman work.
