A tier 1 Contractor, with a track record of excellent delivery of highway maintenance and improvement services on major projects in the UK.
Your new role
Role Involves the following:
* The delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, whilst reviewing highways infrastructure design, from project proposition through to construction.
* Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specification, and schedules.
* Providing construction support to construction team.
* Supervising and overseeing the work of engineers and graduates
What you'll need to succeed
* Relevant 1st Degree or HND/HNC (preferably in engineering) or equivalent qualifications
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIHT (or equivalent) or suitable relevant experience.
* In-depth understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles and a proven track record in highways design and/or delivery
* Strong CAD/Civil 3D skills
* Strong Pavement design experience
* Use of Keylines & Key signs software's
* Ability to use Microsoft projects
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively
* Capability to work autonomously as well as collaborating within a team environment
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical / industry standards
* Working knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, Traffic Signs Manual and TfL Streets toolkit.
* Experience and ability working on or managing multi-task projects.
* Minimum 7 years' experience in a highway design role
What you'll get in return
* Hourly rate up to £40 PH (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
* 6 Month rolling contract
