This exciting young, innovative, international practice wish to meet an Associate Director level architect, who will help to facilitate and lead a motivated group of multi-talented architects and designers working on projects across the UK, and overseas. The practice have a healthy amount of international work in the pipeline and are also winning awards for their recent built work in the UK.
To be considered for this position you will be a qualified architect with strong portfolio displaying both creative design excellence and delivery experience. Sectors could include master planning, residential, transport, commercial or mixed use as examples. The role may require national and international travel to service and build client relationships.
There is also an opportunity to be involved in winning work, networking and presenting in the role. You should enjoy business development, both presenting to clients and winning work.
The remuneration package is aligned with the role as a senior design focused leader. You will be welcomed into a positive culture which champions a friendly, ambitious outgoing office environment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive innovation and design excellence.
- Work across several projects and teams concurrently.
- To champion design and drive quality across the practice.
- Client engagement, responsibilities for leading design charettes and presentations
Skills and experience
- Fully qualified architect with Part III.
- Experience designing cutting-edge global schemes.
- Servicing demanding clients, understanding their needs and lead the design response.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience of mentoring and developing your team.
