Architectural Technician

Your new company
Hays are currently partnering with a successful practice who are looking to appoint an Architect or Architectural Technician on a contract basis for approx. 3-6 months, with the possibility to extend. This position will be based out of the Glasgow office full-time, with occasional site visits as required.

Your new role
You will be carrying out a range of drawings including planning applications and building warrants for multiple projects, predominantly within the leisure sector. There is a great opportunity here to expand your portfolio and work on a number of interesting projects that you might not have been exposed to throughout your career.
What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that you have a relevant Architectural qualification such as HNC / HND or degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
You will be required to speak to customers on the phone and face to face so good communication skills and a confident approach is an essential part of this role. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this position.


What you'll get in return
This contract is expected to last for approximately 3-6 months, with the opportunity for an immediate start. The hourly rate is negotiable dependent upon your experience, but will be in the region of £20-£23ph PAYE.
