Our London studio is looking for a Building Safety Act and CDM Regulations Advisor to join our Detail Studio and support our design teams across all projects where we are appointed under the Building Safety Act and/ or CDM Regulations.

You must be a qualified Architect (ARB) or Architectural Technologist (CIAT) with a minimum of five years’ post-professional qualification experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to project design and technical reviews in relation to CDM and BSA
  • Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Oversee design work for compliance on projects, including Project Quality Plans
  • Oversee and undertake the role of BSA PD and CDM PD on multiple projects
  • Assist with the dissemination of specialist project knowledge and mentoring of less experienced staff as appropriate

An understanding and knowledge of the BS Act and the CDM Regulations required. Also, an awareness of and ability to navigate the requirements of current Building Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice, British Standards is an advantage.

You will have excellent communication skills, an attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team. Knowledge of Revit is essential.

We will provide appropriate CDM and BR Principal Designer training.

We have introduced hybrid working to allow staff to work from home on agreed days.
