Senior CAD Technician

Their focus is a holistic design process that begins with meticulous research and concept creation through to detailed working drawings, on site project management and contract administration.

This applicant would be well organised, efficient and adaptable with excellent communication skills.  Proficient at producing high quality drawings for a range of applications such as feasibility studies, licensing, site surveys and planning applications, and drawing packages, working alongside Project Managers, Architectural Technicians and Interior Designers.

You will be;

​

Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD

Proven experience of delivering high quality presentation and planning drawings

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Highly developed organisational skills

Able to work effectively under time and budget constraints

Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications

Knowledgeable/having had regular experience with regards to Planning and drawing packages

Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations required

Duties include;

​

Overseeing the general day to day tasks of the Drawing Office and be responsible for the quality of the drawings being produced and issued both internally and externally to clients and project teams

Monitor and uphold standards of all elements of drawing to ensure a consistent level of drawings are produced and issued

Drawing and issuing of drawing packages to the project management team for all projects

Review and check drawings where required

Act as a designer and/ or draughts person and produce drawings as required to support the team

Provide guidance on design, production methods and use of AutoCAD

Maintain our in-house CAD block library template drawings

Staff Management (Appraisals)

Mentor junior staff members
