Location: Yate, Staple Hill, and Kingswood in South Gloucestershire 🕰️
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 🏢
Department: Supported Housing 👥
Reporting to: Team Leader 🌟
Purpose: As an Assistant Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in a mission to reduce repeat homelessness and improve outcomes for vulnerable adults. Here's what you'll be responsible for:


  • Service Leadership: Collaborate with the Team Leader to provide leadership and guidance to your team. Ensure high-quality service delivery that aligns with our vision of changing lives through housing.
  • Psychologically Informed Approach: Monitor the quality of support and housing management, using outcome tools and systems. Champion a psychologically informed approach to support work.
  • Building Maintenance and Safety: Oversee the maintenance and security of the buildings under your remit, following our Health and Safety compliance framework.
  • Data Reporting: Collect data and produce monthly and quarterly reports for South Gloucestershire Council, meeting contractual requirements.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor relief staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and recognise and reward good performance.
