Your new company
As a Site Manager/Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the wastewater treatment improvement project from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders. This is a minimum 6-month contract with immediate start dates available, paying £400 per day (Outside IR35).
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the wastewater treatment improvement project from conception to completion.
- Review project details thoroughly to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers on-site.
- Select appropriate tools and materials, and manage their procurement.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and promptly report any issues.
- Manage the use of construction equipment and machinery.
- Maintain effective communication between project managers, site staff, and clients.
- Plan daily work schedules and coordinate workers on-site.
- Regularly inspect construction sites to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Provide guidance to construction workers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit project estimates and budgets.
- Document progress and report it to stakeholders.
- Adhere to compliance regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven work experience
In construction management or a similar role, preferably with
5+ years of experience
Working on water projects as a site manager.
- In-depth understanding of
Construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with
Construction and project management software.
- Essential Certifications are:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme),
First Aid, and
Temporary Work Co-ordinator.
