Job Details

Location : Bristol, North Somerset and South Glouc
Hours: Variable from 18.5 or 37 per week
Salary: £24,620 per annum

As a Recovery Navigator, your primary responsibility would be to deliver individually tailored support to people in recovery. Here are some key aspects of the role:


  • Supporting Individuals in Recovery:
    • You'll work one-on-one and in group settings with program participants.
    • Your goal is to help them set recovery goals, overcome barriers, and build recovery capital.
    • By doing so, you'll contribute to maintaining their progress in recovery from substance-use disorders.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide guidance, advocacy, and practical assistance to individuals in need.
    • Act as a liaison between clients, court program teams, and Diversion Hub services navigators (if applicable)
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • Previous experience in mental health or recovery support.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong understanding of advocacy and support services.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
    • An empathetic and non-judgmental approach
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Relevant qualifications in mental health, counselling, social work, or related fields.
    • Certification in mental health first aid (or equivalent) is advantageous.
    • Additional training in trauma-informed care is desirable.
