Urban Designer

JTP is an award winning, international placemaking practice of architects and masterplanners.

From our studios in London and Bristol we undertake placemaking projects at every scale, from cities and towns, to neighbourhoods, streets and the design of individual buildings.

JTP is creating a number of new neighbourhoods and new settlements at both outline planning and detailed design stages and are looking to recruit an experienced urban designer who is as excited as we are about the creation of new sustainable places.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post qualified experience gained in a design practice working on large scale urban design and masterplanning projects.

Experience in producing proving layouts, parameter plans and land budget plans is a requirement for the role. Evidence of report writing for DAS’s and Design Codes is also essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have excellent written, verbal and graphic communication and be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD and hand-drawing.
