Freelance Construction Manager Role - Highways

Your new company
You will be joining an industry-leading provider of infrastructure within the UK who works on the Area 7 Maintenance and Repair contract within the Midlands Region. Due to an increase in projects due to start within the next couple of months, they are looking for a Construction Manager to join their team on a freelance basis.

Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery scheme of cyclic maintenance operations on trunk roads and motorways, which is valued at £50m per annum. Your new role will entail the planning and development of structure projects, liaising with the client and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have relevant experience working on Highways/Motorways projects for the principal contractor on maintenance projects such as resurfacing, waterproofing and structural works. You will have relevant tickets such as a Gold or Black CSCS Card and SMSTS and have the ability to exhibit excellent management abilities, such as project, financial, change, and construction management.
