Are you looking to join a growing and friendly south London practice with a busy portfolio or London workplace retrofit and one off houses? Although supportive, this studio formed from a well known design pedigree, have a pretty hands off approach to management and so offers the opportunity for a competent architect to take the reigns and gain great exposure. You will benefit from working on site in a highly collaborative and friendly team who take life outside of work seriously too, in a well facilitated office next to a lovely green space!
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day project lead on a range of commercial workplace projects, new build and refurbishment, up to £15 m, as well as domestic scale housing.
- Produce planning and technical information in Vectorworks.
- Liaise with both private clients and developers, authorities, consultants and contractors.
- Supervise works on site.
Skills and Experience
- Fully qualified Part III architect with a keen eye for design.
- Well-rounded experience at design and technical stages, ideally working on London workplace adaptive re-use or one off houses.
- Client-facing experience.
- Sound knowledge of UK building code regulations.
- Vectorworks and Sketchup ideal.
- Excellent visual presentation skills using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent command of verbal and written English.
