Architectural Technician/Technologist

Our Client is a prestigious architectural practice based in St James’s, London, renowned for delivering high-quality architectural services to private and commercial clients across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on residential and hospitality projects.

Position: Architectural Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in all project stages, with a focus on RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
• Design development and technical design.
• Coordination with the consultant team.
• Preparation of Building Regulations documentation.
• Creation of tender information and construction documentation (NBS and drawings).
• Review of shop drawings and site inspections.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• CIAT accredited qualifications.
• Minimum of five years post-qualification experience.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
• Proven experience in detailed and technical design, and the delivery of tender packages and construction documentation, including drawings and specifications (NBS preferred).
• Coordination of design with the consultant team.
• Site experience.
• Good working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and Approved Documents.
• Clear understanding of best practice detailing and specification of building materials, products, and workmanship.
• Experience in residential and/or hospitality sectors.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.
