Design Principle Tall Buildings - Dubai

This opportunity will see you join the leadership team to design one of the most revolutionary tall buildings in history, destined to be the heart and new global landmark of a key metropolis in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be part of a highly skilled, elite team with direct engagement with the Regional Design Director, while interfacing with the most prestigious pool of global subconsultants currently aligned to support the project.

You must be from an elite architectural background and demonstrate experience designing world scale projects within a top practice environment. This role will suit a very senior design driven architect also responsible for client facing/team leading/hands on role; you will need to present a breadth of skills to be qualified for an interview.  

Key Responsibilities
 
•    Being the owner, key point of contact and architectural lead of a globally recognizable very tall building and mixed-use destination which includes residential, retail and hospitality and civic components
•    Architectural design leadership, design, coordination, and development
•    Ability to be hands on design leader for a group of multi talent architect and design professionals.

Skills and Requirements
 
•    Part III architectural qualification, UK or international.  Portfolio and experience designing global scale design projects
•    Understanding of international standards and procedures in the design of very tall structures over 250m tall
•    Understanding of financial and commercial management of projects
•    A keen eye for detail resolution and accuracy
•    A team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating
•    Ability to negotiate
