Job Details
Our client is a prestigious, medium sized architectural practice based in London, renowned for delivering high-quality services to private and commercial clients across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on high-end residential projects, with contracts valuing £5-£30 million.
You're looking for candidates with around 4-5 years of post-certification/ in practice experience. Experience in high-end, traditional, London Residential town houses or apartment buildings is essential.
Proficiency in Vectorworks is desired however, the firm is open to providing training on Vectorworks from any other software.
Position: Architectural Technologist/ Technician
Key Responsibilities:

Position: Architectural Technologist/ Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in all project stages, with a focus on RIBA Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Design development and technical design including 1:5 scale drawings
- Coordination with the consultant team.
- Preparation of Building Regulations documentation.
- Creation of tender information and construction documentation (NBS and drawings).
- Review of shop drawings and site inspections.
- CIAT accredited qualifications ideal
- Minimum of five years post-qualification experience
- Proficiency in Vectorworks or other suitable software that they can cross train across to Vectorworks
- Good working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and Approved Documents
- Clear understanding of best practice detailing and specification of building materials
- Experience in residential and/or hospitality sectors
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
- Great team spirit/close, family office culture
