The Head of Principal Design will lead the team through a key transition, driving bespoke architectural projects and business growth. - Lead and develop the Principal Design team, fostering collaboration.
- Advise on Health and Safety risk management, ensuring CDM compliance.
- Drive the evolution of the Principal Designer role, enhancing project consistency.
- Review project designs and maintain Pre-construction Health and Safety standards.
- Support clients with Pre-Construction Information and Health and Safety during planning.
- Prepare Health and Safety Files upon project completion.
- Provide training to in-house design teams and collaborate with enforcement authorities.
- Extensive CDM experience and expertise in design and construction management.
- Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) and APS membership.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred background in architectural or engineering design, with a relevant degree.
- Security clearance or eligibility is ideal.
