A renowned West London-based design studio is seeking a highly creative and talented Senior Architect to work on large-scale luxury retail projects. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering projects for one of the world’s most innovative retail operators.
About the Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll focus on the architecture and base build of significant luxury retail projects (ranging from 150,000 - 800,000 sqm) from Concept Design through to completion. Your balance of creative design, technical proficiency, and project efficiency will help produce cohesive and visually stunning architectural outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mixed-use luxury retail projects, ensuring quality from concept to completion.
- Produce detailed technical drawings and tender packages.
- Guide project delivery through Concept design, Schematic design & design development stages, overseeing programming and team resources.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including interior design, installation, and branding.
- Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Liaise with subcontractors, ensuring the project’s technical and aesthetic integrity is maintained.
About You:
- Minimum of 8 years of luxury design experience on large-scale, mixed-use projects globally.
- Expertise in materials, finishes, and luxury retail design.
- Proficient in Rhino, AutoCAD (Revit preferred), and delivering high-quality visualizations and FF&E.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders.
- Experience producing detailed construction drawing packs and working with contractors.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor junior team members.
- LEED or BREEAM accreditation is required, and SITES qualifications would be highly advantageous.
This is an exciting opportunity for an architect passionate about luxury retail design, looking to work in a dynamic and innovative studio. If you’re eager to contribute to landmark projects that shape the future of experiential retail spaces, we’d love to hear from you.
